NATURE PRESERVED FOR YOU

A 44-Acre Nature Preserve Tucked Within the Heart of the Community

Just minutes from every doorstep, Longcliff’s private 44-acre preserve offers miles of meandering hiking trails. Winding creeks, flowering pollinator meadows and quiet places to pause and take in the views create an everyday connection to the landscape.

Beyond the preserve, Longcliff is bordered on three sides by the 8,000-acre Gorges State Park, surrounding the community with even more opportunities to explore, hike, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the mountains.

Follow a leaf-strewn or snow-dusted path along Bearwallow Creek and out to the cascading 100-foot waterfall. Wander through white pines and mountain laurel, where azaleas and Pink Lady Slipper orchids bloom and blueberries are ripe for picking during season. WiFi works throughout the trails, dogs romp off leash and wildlife becomes a part of the adventure.

Longcliff Preserve is managed by
the North American Land Trust

Conserving the land for future generations, the North American Land Trust maintains the preserve and provides a host of educational programs on local flora and fauna, the history of the ancient landscape and more, fostering an enriching connection to the natural world.
